The National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators (NAUPA) is a non-profit organization affiliated with the National Association of State Treasurers and the Council of State Governments.   The site provides links to individual State resources for finding and claiming abandoned property.  According to the California State Controller, the State of California is currently in possession of more than $6.4 billion in Unclaimed Property belonging to approximately 21.5 million individuals and organizations.
