HOWTO : View/Download My Photographs on Flickr

I share some of my photography on the photo sharing site Flickr.  Flickr was part of Yahoo and has since been purchased by SmugMug. This article explains how to create a free Flickr acount and how to view and download my photography.

 

If you do not have a Flickr account:

  1. Browse to https://www.flickr.com
  2. Click Sign Up
  3. Fill in the form as directed.  You can sign up with any of your existing emails addresses and do not need to sign up for Yahooo.
  4. Continue below

If you already have a Flickr account:

  1. login at https://www.flickr.com
  2. Search for Daniel Fishman and select People
  3. Find my account and select FOLLOW
  4. If you would like access to provate albums – mostly family events, email me and I will add access to them for you.

On a high note: Cambria Film Festival wraps up at Hearst Castle 

Just as the sun started to dip over the hills of San Simeon, we made our way up the winding Highway 1 on Feb. 11. Nary a zebra was in view tonight as we make the turn for Hearst Castle.

With Valentine’s Day just days away, one would be hard-pressed to find a more romantic spot on the Central Coast than the castle, and the founders of the first ever Cambria Film Festival agreed, which is why the closing champagne gala and awards ceremony is being held at the movie theater on-site at the state park. In politically divisive times such as these, festival organizers decided their event would center on something we could all agree on: love. Fantômas—Revenge of the Image with Maya Brattkus October 19th – 28th Wuzhen China

Revenge of the Image, will receive its world premiere Oct. 19 at the Wuzhen Theatre Festival in Wuzhen China. The multidisciplinary work incorporates live performance and film to explore urban violence. CalArtian and mega-talent Maya Brattkus is among the cast of this piece focusing on the emergence of urban terror as an enduring facet of modernity. Inspired by the legendary figure of Souvestre and Allain's pulp fiction series as well as the films of Louis Feuillade.   Center for New Performance artistic director Travis Preston will direct the project, which was developed in collaboration with Tom Gunning.  [Wuzhen show poster]

 

Wild Prairie Rose – Winner Black Hills Film Festival – Best Feature Film 2017

We are so thrilled to announce that Wild Prairie Rose was named the BEST FEATURE FILM at the Black Hills Film Festival in South Dakota! As an independent film that was shot almost entirely in Beresford, SD this recognition means so much to us!  Thank you to the festival organizers and the jury for this honor!  If you are in the Black Hills area, WPR will screen on SUNDAY, APRIL 30th at the festival, and our director, DEBORAH LAVINE will lead a panel discussion on film making as well! We hope to see you there!
